Washington Post: A small meat-packing firm is suing the USDA to be allowed to conduct their own tests for Mad Cow disease. The USDA contends that the tests would be for marketing purposes, not food safety.

Des Moines Register: Small organic dairies fear that larger organic dairies will push them out of business, while the big companies are facing a consumer backlash for their use of feedlots.
