If yes, send thee an e-mail to Heather Teta, ABC casting producer for “Wife Swap,” because she’d like to meet you, according to her letter currently posted on the What’s New section of Organic Pastures’ website.
Despite the title, “Wife Swap” is not a swingers exposé, but more of a “fish out of water” reality show in which two households with opposing philosophies about something swap moms and learn about diff’rnt strokes for diff’rnt folks, etc. But like all reality shows, it’s designed for maximum TV ratings, which among other things requires the “characters” to get humiliated often and at length.
More importantly, you also run the risk of giving a truly insane person access to your family. Before applying, I highly recommend you watch this YouTube segment, from a “Trading Spouses” episode (very similar show) in which a Christian woman comes home from her week at “Satan’s nest.” If anyone is desperate brave enough after viewing to go ahead with this, please let us know how it turns out!

How funny - I was just talking yesterday with the owner of a local store who was filmed recently helping one of the Trading Spouses picking out appropriate clothing for her “new” spouse. The store owner only found out later that the woman was part of a lesbian couple that traded spouses with a straight family. Apparently some of her regular customers were shocked and outraged that she had helped this lesbian integrate into their neighborhood…
I wonder if this was the crazy woman she swapped with….
