The Austin Sustainable Shopper’s Ball will be happening this Saturday, December 9 from 9am-2pm at the Toney Burger Center, right next to the nationally renowned Sunset Valley Farmer’s Market. With over 60 solar-powered (!) vendors, you could finish your Christmas shopping early this year, while at the same time attending interesting and informative lectures on green living. Featuring eco-friendly home improvement vendors, organic gardening experts as well as organic cotton baby clothes and makers of cute necklaces and purses, the Sustainable Shopper’s Ball calls itself a “Green Living Market.”
Isn’t it great that you can be eco-conscious and still be a consumer whore?
