In response to overwhelming demand, UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism has moved the Feb. 27 event with Whole Foods CEO John Mackey and writer Michael Pollan from 700-seat Wheeler Hall to the much grander Zellerbach Hall (2,000+ seats). The original tickets went on sale Feb. 1 and were gone in under two hours.
The Wheeler tickets will be honored at Zellerbach Hall and new block of tickets was just released, so if you were shut out the first round, you can call (510) 642-9988 or go to the Cal Performances box office on campus in person and pick up some. Annoyingly, the seats are now general admission, which means we’ll have to line up rather than enjoy a leisurely dinner someplace beforehand. If it all sounds too grueling for you, you can always watch the live webcast instead.
Rats, I guess this means I won’t be able to scalp those extra four tickets the Potato Non Grata scored for me after all on Craigslist, where several people are begging to buy them.

Oh phew — you couldn’t with the Wheeler ones. Thanks Sugam! Also, the new tickets are $10 instead of $5.

Dang, too bad because I have an extra ticket to sell and now I might not be able to find anyone to sell it to! Argh.
