And a pheasant holiday to you too: Commentator Geoffrey Wheatcroft argues that "on every honest test, from moral to environmental, hunting [foxes and hares] comes out better than shooting [pheasants]." We’re not sure we agree, but he makes a compelling case. (Guardian Unlimited)
