“Botany of Desire” musical plans revealed

Annals of Pollanation: Two artists-in-residence at UC Berkeley, Alex Harvey and John Gromada, are adapting Michael Pollan's 2001 bestseller "The Botany of Desire" as a musical, and last week several hundred people attended a  campus read-though of the upcoming work. Fun fact: The marijuana section may be presented on 3-D animated screens. (The Berkeleyan)
