Advertising (Revised May 9, 2009)

We welcome ads for "green living," books, and general cooking tools and gadgets. We rarely accept food-related ads. Please see the Sponsorship page for rates.

Donations

We are considering having a PayPal button to allow us to accept donations toward the costs of the site, or to let us do more ambitious things.

Merchandise

Coming someday — "Chew the Right Thing" t-shirts and aprons.

Review products (Revised May 9, 2009)

We do not accept food products for review. We welcome review copies of new books about food politics, farms, and cultural histories of food is a shoo-in. We do love cookbooks, but we probably won't review them unless there's a SOLE food angle. We will consider reviewing kitchen gadgets and tools if they facilitate activities like canning or preserving, or making butter or compost.

To offer a review copy to the team in general, please email t...@ethicurean.com and if someone is interested they will get back to you with a mailing address. You may also e-mail individual writers by going to their bios pages.

Comments (Revised May 9, 2009)

Comments are moderated. We welcome discussion and dialogue conducted in a civil manner, which means basically, don't say anything on this blog that you wouldn't say to our face across a dinner table. If you offer criticism, stand by your opinions and use your real name. Anonymous heckling and personal attacks will not make it through moderation, and nor will spam and commercially-motivated comments that do not relate in any way to the post.
